About NoTaxOvertime

NoTaxOvertime is a set of free paycheck calculators for the 2026–2028 tax rules — the years when qualified overtime premium and up to $25,000 of tips are deductible from federal income tax, while bonuses continue to be withheld at the flat 22% supplemental rate. We built it because those rules changed how a paycheck feels, and most tools haven't caught up.

How the calculators work

Every calculator itemizes the same layers: gross pay, federal withholding at the 22% supplemental rate (adjusted for the new deductions where they apply), FICA at 7.65%, and your state's published supplemental withholding rate — or an editable estimate for states without a flat published rate. All the math runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored.

What these numbers are — and aren't

Results are paycheck-level estimates: what your employer's payroll is most likely to withhold. They are not your final tax liability — that's computed on your annual return, where over-withheld bonus tax typically comes back as a refund and the new deductions are claimed. Nothing on this site is tax advice; for decisions with real money attached, talk to a qualified tax professional.

Sources we build on

Federal rates follow IRS supplemental-wage guidance and the 2025 tax law's overtime and tips deductions; the Social Security wage base follows the SSA announcement; state rates follow published state supplemental-withholding guidance. Where a state has no flat published rate, the calculators say so and let you enter one.
